He was bom Sept. 24, 1983 in Price, a son of Michael and Ange la Dunn Davis. He was a student at Castle Dale Elementary. He enjoyed hunting,' fishing and being outdoors. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed a good joke. He was an outstanding athlete and enjoyed sports. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his parents, Castle Dale; two brothers, Christopher Davis, Castle Dale; Robert Poper, Idaho; four sisters, Stephanie and Rachel Davis, Castle Dale; September and Danyail Denison, both of Idaho; grandparents, Helga Davis, Castle Dale; David and Hilda Dunn, Idaho; uncle and aunt, Steven and Lori Davis, Castle Dale; greatgrandfather, Arval Bud Davis, Salt Lake; many cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Bud Davis; and two great-grandmothe- Dorothy Merle Davis and Erna Birkenbach. Funeral services will be Thursday, Nov. 16, at 1 p.m. in the Castle Dale LDS Stake Center. Friends may call at the church Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. or one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Castle Dale Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary. CARBONVILLE Byrnell Konky Cowan, age 72, died Nov. 6, 1995 in Price. He was bom Aug. 20, 1923 in Wellington to Byron and Nellie Hill Cowan. He married Ramona H. Reaveley on July 10, 1947 in Great Falls, Mont. She died July time with his family, especially his grandchildren, but most of all his best friend, Shawnbre. He is survived by one son and one daughter, Jerel B. (Deborah) Cowan, Price; Rhonda C. (Leland) Bodgin, Price; two brothers and one sister, William E. Cowan, West Valley; Laretta Busch, Bountiful; Dean Cowan, Blue Jay, Calif.; grandchildren, Justin C. and Petrea Bentley, Huntington; Heather M. and Sam Marrelli, Helper; Misty Dawn Cowan, Price; Shawnbre Blaz Cowan, Price; stepgrand-childreRonnie and Shelley Bodgin, Price; Leanna Bogdin, Helper; Tannin R. Bentley and Brielle M. 11, 1992. Bogdin. Byrnell Cowan He was a lifelong resident of Carbon County, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked for U.S. Fuel at Hiawatha for 46 years and was one of the first EMTs in the state of Utah. Ernest OGreen SPRING GLEN Ernest Ernie OGreen, age 79, died in Price. He was bom Sept. 6, 1916 in Tooele, the son of John and Ann Kadunce OGreen. He married Stella Smith in December 1946 in Elko, Nev. He was a member of the Catholic Church and attended Carbon High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Africa, Europe, Asiatic and Pacific areas. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for gallantry in combat. He was a coal mine supervisor at Spring Canyon, AEP and Kaiser Steel. He was a retired member of UMWA, honorary life member of Price Elks Lodge 1550 and life member of DAV 16. He was a past president of Slovenian Home, Spring Glen, and past president of Spring Glen Canal Co. He is survived by his wife, Stella OGreen, Spring Glen; one son and three daughters, John E. OGreen, Groveport, Ohio; Jeanne Day, Las Vegas, Nev.; Janis Aberle, Las Vegas, Nev.; Nancy Wiggains, Las Vegas, Nev.; stepchildren, Richard Smith, Helper; Joyce Smith, Park City; Jim Smith, Bastrop, Texas; two sisters, Elsie Hile, Whittier, Calif.; Alice Bogan, San Rafael, Calif., 13 grandchildren; 23 greatgrandchildren; two nephews, Stephen Cowan and Frank Whipple; many other caring, loving relatives and friends. Burial will be in the Wellington City Cemetery under the direction ofFausett Mortuary. , f I Ruth Twitchell PRICE Ruth Ann Schade Twitchell, age 49, died Nov. 5, 1995 in Elko General Hospital. She was bora Feb. 14, 1946 in Price to George and Wauneta Wilson Schade. She married Marion Wesley Twitchell on Sept. 10, 1982 in Green River. She attended Carbon High School. She was a former resident of Wellington city and a former patrolman at Soldier Summit. Leora Atwood HURRICANE Leora Mae Pierce Atwood, 7 1, darling wife of Clement Antone Atwood and beloved mother, grandmother and sister, returned to her Heavenly Fathers presence Nov. 11, 1995. She was bom to Elton L. and Thelma Ruth Worley Pierce April 14, 1924 in Wellington. She married her sweetheart, Clemont, on Nov. 15, 1941 in Price. Their marriage was solemnized in the Man-t- i LDS Temple Jan. 30, 1947. She was an active member of the LDS Church and held many positions in, church organizations. She is survived by her husband, Hurricane; seven children, Karen K. (Joseph) Jewkes, San- dy; Ronald Clemont (Mary) Atwood, Orem; Cleora Mae (Smo-keClark and Ruth Ann (Jay) y) Dinkelman, Wellington; Brent Cloye (Sheree) Atwood and Gary Antone (Patricia) Atwood, Price; Bruce Lee (Susan) Atwood, Roy; 38 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren. He was bora Feb. 24, 1927 in Platteville, Wis., the son of Dave and Gladys Elsie Horn Bottoms. He married Doris Jensen Feb. 24, 1978 in Grand Junction, Colo. He was a member of the Catholic Church, and a resident of Price since 1976. He retired from the U.S. Army with 22 years of dedicated service. He will be dearly missed by his family and grandchildren.
