Show Tuesday, November 14, 1995 5B Emery County Progress Canyon View has new Readers' Club A new addition to extra mile activities at Canyon View Junior High is the Readers Club. First quarter Canyon View had Davenport, Randi Devereaux, Melodee Druce, Sharol Durrant, Cassandra Easter, Kyla Ekker, Joanna Guymon, students who met the 56 Karlee Guymon, Tel Guymon, requirements for membership in the club. These students had to read and pass computer tests Cleveland Elementary School water poster first place winners are, front, left to right, third, Dustin Hansen, second, Brandi Miller, second, Rasmussen, first, Rachel Rasmussen, and morning kindergarten Madison Jesnsen. Jason Holdaway, Cindy Hunting, Becky Jackson, Cale Jensen, Chess Jensen, Leslie of comprehension to earn points. The number of points vary according to length and difficulty of the novel read. Points range from one to as high as 24 per book. The students receive points only according to how well they answer the questions. Seventh grade was required to earn 24 Next are, sixth, Garrett Jensen, fifth, Teresa Bird, fourth, Chase Jensen, fourth, Cole Sherman. Emery School Board honors CV employees of the month HUNTINGTON- The Emery County School Board - re- cently honored two employees at Canyon View Junior High as Employees of the Month. They are Richard Bird and Melodye Sinclair. Mr. Bird is the certified employee of the month. He is a resource teacher at Canyon View.
