Born Oct. 29, 1903 in Emery to Andrew M. and Johanna C. Larsen Sorenson. Maried Elsie Williams Aug. 7, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Worked as a farmer and rancher and most recently for the DOT. He was very active in the LDS Church, holding many executive offices. He and his wife filled a mission in the Manti LDS Temple, 1969-72- . Survived by wife, Elsie, Emery; son, Randolph H. Sorensen, Sandy; daughter, Beverly Stone, Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren; three Jeffs Salisbury brothers, Orval, Ruben and Que. Funeral services were held Nov. 11. Burial, Emery Cemetery. Born Oct. 26, 1918 in Spring-vill- e to Raymond James and VivPritchett. Married Christine ian Max L. Childs Dec. 13, 1941. She loved the outdoors, especially fishing with her family. Survived by: husband. Max of Huntington; three sons, Garth L. of Huntington; David M. of Tacoma, Wash.; Richard J. of Emery; and seven grandchildren. Preceded in death by an infant daughter. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. in the Huntington LDS Stake Center. Friends may call at the Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., and at the Stake Center one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Orangeville Cemetery. Canyon View Jr. High Cougars STUDENTS OF THE WEEK son Greg is the of Mack and Julie Huntington of Orangeville. He likes anything to do yvith horses and was on the state horse-judgin- g team that went to nationals. He placed second in calf roping at state competition last year and he and his partner competed at the nationals and placed 27th out of Vivian Renee Smith Childs teams. Greg was the president of the FFA subchapter at San Rafael Junior High in ninth grade. He is a member of the National Honor Society and has been on the honor roll consistently. Greg was the outstanding sophomore English student and is listed in the book of Whos Who Among American High School Students.
