A total fine of $700 was imposed by the court and the jail time will be suspended upon payment of the fine. Judge Bryce K. Bryner ordered the issuance of a bench warrant with $2,500 bail with the order to produce the defendant on Nov. 30. An order to produce was also ordered by the court for Marcus Lynn Mann of Craig, Colo. The defendant failed to appear for arraignment in a class A misdemeanor of driving on a license revoked for alcohol; and two class B misdemeanors of possession of drug paraphernalia and having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle. The bondsman is ordered to produce the defendant on Nov. 30. Raymond V. Garcia, 23, West 'Valley City, was sentenced to serve six months in jail and given a fine of $900 on his second offense of DUI. The court suspended all but 10 days of the sentence on the condition that the defendant take the drinking driver education class in Salt Lake City. Counts one, four and five, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, a third degree felony; unlawful possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, both class B misdemeanors, respectively, were consolidated, and the defendant was sentenced to serve six months in jail. All but 30 days were suspended, and the defendant was placed on formal probation with the department of corrections.
