She is the daughter of Boyd and Larraine Snow, Cedar City and the former Miss Iron County. Cook and her court were selected Friday at SUSC at a pageant planned around a patriotic theme and the signing and Plaids Check our other SPECIALS of the U.S. Constitution. Red, white and blue streamers decorated the stage and each of the 17 contestants stated her feelings about the Constitution during the evening gown competition. The new Miss SUSC, a green-eye- d blond and 1987 North Sanpete High School graduate, won the talent portion of the contest with her rendition of MacDowells piano piece Cook is the Hungarian. daughter of Louis and Dorothy Cook, Fountain Green. Miss Utah Marianne Bales Anne and Miss SUSC 1986-8- 7 for Bruce served as the event. A number of activities were held for the pageant hopefuls prior to the Miss SUSC Pageant, coordinated by pageant chairwoman LaRee Rees and her committee. We wanted them to have as many growth opportunities as possible before the pageant, she said. ne areas: being on the schools honor roll, having 100 percent attendance or being chosen by a teacher as making the most improvement or showing the best effort. This, term there were 114 students who had 100 percent attendance and 15 students with straight A report cards. There were 213 students who qualified for the drawing this term. Each of these students received two free coupons for candy bars, drinks and donuts. Students receive prizes which have been donated by area businesses. All names are reserved for a grand prize drawing at the end of the school year for $100 cash.
