Published can-C6ll6- d. Emery County, Utah, intends to undertake renovation of the Senior Center (Friendship Center) in Emery Town. This project is located in the 100 year flood plain. Since the improvements are minor in comparison to total cost at a completely new facility and considering that there are presently no resources available for a new facility, it was decided that these improvements to the facility be made. Failure to provide the rehabilitation assistance would result in the continued unsafe and undesirable condition for the senior citizens in Emery Town. It is the Countys judgment that the improvements to the existing structures outweigh consideration of Executive Order 11088. A more detailed description of the project and the FIA flood maps are available for citizen review at the Emery County Courthouse, Castle Lester E.Prall Published November 16, Certifying Official Emery County Courthouse Castle Dale, Utah 84513 in the Emery County Progress 1983.
