A buffet eupper wa eerved and an evening of games was en-joyed. Prizes were won by Mre. Trinidad Neria and Mre. Mary Ruth Conzalee. The honored guest re-ceived many lovely gifts. The new bride alto showed pictures of her wedding which took place in Mex-ico. Helen Sullenger, bingo. Other mem-bers attending were Mrs. BessU West, Mrs. Hazel Robbe, Mrs. Irena Frazier, Mrs. Mary Jo Rubright, Mrs. Margaret Dubois, Mrs. Laura Magee, Mrs. Charlotte Murano and Mrs. Pearl Raamussen. Next Circle meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Othelia Barkle on June 20. A very lovely postnuptial bri-dal shower was given Sunday, June 3, at the home of Mrs. Thomas Fregoso in Kearna in honor of a new bride, Mrs. Cilbert Leyba of Monterey, Mexico. Cuests attending family and to attend the- Zeta Fra-ternity dinner dance. Derald is go-ing to work in Cedar City this sum-mer and participate in a Shakes-pearean Festival. Mrs. Gladys Scroggin of Copper-to- n was an overnight guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bent-le- y of Midvale Monday. Mrs. Richard C. Stevenson of West Jordan is attending the Utah Federation of Women's Club an-nual state convention at Hotel Newhouse in Salt Lake City this Friday and Saturday.. Jim Lovat, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Lovat of Midvale, is home for the summer from Idaho State Col-lege at Pocatello, Idaho. Mrs. Ivy Hull of Fresno, Calif., is visiting her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Albert R. Hull and child-ren of Midvale and other relatives. ,. The Bingham Fire Ladies Auxil-iary met Monday night for their regular meeting with Mrs. Lawr-ence West hostess for the evening. A short business meeting was held after which bridge was enjoyed. Prizes were won by Mrs. Jack Householder, Jr., first! Mrs. Hosmer Peterson, second; Mrs. Boyd And-erson, consolation, and Mrs. Ro-bert King, bingo. Lovely refresh-ments were served by the hostess. Sixteen members were present. Mrs. Maurine Nielson and dau-ghter Carol, Mrs. Patsy Meenen and daughter, Leslie, went to Mon-roe last Tuesday to spend Memorial Day at Monroe with Mrs. Maybel 1'orgensen. Maurine, Patsy and Leslie returned home Thursday and Carol is remaining for awhile. Derald Nielson came home for the week end to visit his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Hunt L. Nielson and Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nielsen and boys, Clifford, Royce and Gary of Riverton visited in Elsinore Wed-nesday till Friday last week and spent last Friday and Saturday vis-iting in Manti and Mt. Pleasant. Mr. and Mrs. David Draper are proud parents of twin boys born Sunday. Happy grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. M. K. Bunnell. Mr. Bunnell is principal at West Jordan Junior High School. Mrs. Eunice Coiling and child-ren, Dana, Kathy and Neal of Mur-ray were dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Dimmick. Sunday, Mrs. Maurine Nielson and Mrs. Patsy Meenen and Leslie visited with Miss Velate Jorgensen of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Peter Padgen and family of Mid-vale. Mr. and Mrs. T. P. Durrant and family of St. George, former Bing-ham residents, called on friends in West Jordan and vicinity Tuesday afternoon. John Adamek won the Kelvina-to- r Foodarama " freezer-refrigerat-given away by the Midvale Jaycees at the intermission of the Pony Lea-gue game at Midvale last Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bentley of Midvale visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nielsen and family of Riverton Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. David Dimmick and family, Wayne, Sue, Janna, Randy and Ronnie spent Tuesday and Wed nesday last week at Elsinore where they stayed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Nielsen and family. They visited with Mr. Dimmick's father, D. V. Dimmick in Fillmore on Thursday and Friday. D. V. Dimmick visited at the David Dim-mick home the Saturday and Sun-day before Memorial Day. Mr. and Mrs. Gail Farnsworth and grandchildren, Gail and Gary, of Bingham, Mr. and Mrs. Davy Farnsworth and Mr. and Mrs. Don Farnsworth and baby of Brigham City, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Davies of Murray and Mr. and Mrs. Eaniard from Canada spent four days fish-ing at Moon Lake. Friday Mr. and Mrs. Hunt L. Nielson and Mrs. Patsy Meenen and Leslie visited with Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Steed and boys, Kent and Mike, and Mr. and Mrs. Kalon Johnson of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Kelvin Johnson, Bruce, Debbie and Sherri of Napa, Idaho, who are visiting the Kalon John-sons. Lail B. Meenen of the U. S. Navy received a promotion on May 16 from third class to second class. He is presently stationed on the USS Tingey. Martha Circle met Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Alta Boyd in Salt Lake City. A very lovely one o'clock luncheon was served. After wards a business meeting was held and bridge was played.
