These six applicants will now be judged in the Utah South Area Division for a chance to advance to the state final judging The top two hoys and top two girls in the state final Moab Elks Lodge 2021 has announced the results of the Lodge Judging of the Most Valuable Student Contest, In the Girls Division t'vt first place winner is Mindy Arthur at Grand County High School. She will receive a check in the amount of $ 500. Second-place winner is Minam Mitchell of Green River High School. She will receive a check in the amount of $400. The Third place winner is Nannette Redd of Montioello High School, and she will receive a check m the amount of $300. In the Boys Division the first-plac- e winner is Nathan Jack of Montioello High School. He will receive $ 500. Second-plac- e winner is judging are submitted for national judging for the following awards: two first- - place awards of $ 60,000 00, two second-placawards of $ awards of 40,000.00, two e third-plac- e awards $ 20,000.00, 494 fourth-plac- e of $ 4,000.00. This gToup of volunteers worked extremely hard last year to secure funds for the Grand County CJC. The CJC is a place where alleged victims of child abuse are interviewed by law enforcement and DCFS. Because of the generosity of the community and the hard work of the Fnends Board, the center will soon open its medical component. The Fnends Board is proud to announce their 2001 officers: Chairperson Meg Paulson, Treasurer Lori McFarland, and Secretary Jessica Walsh. The center would also like to welcome its newest members, Matt Moore, Wes Shannon, Cassie Paup, Robbie Jones, Kim Davis and Linda Davis.
