This years fifth annual Skinny Tire Festival will be held March The Skinny, as the locals know it, is quickly becoming the event that marks the opening of Moabs recreation season. Giving the local business a target date to be prepared to host the expected 1000 riders and their companions. But it is not just for the restaurants, shops and cyclists. It has a grander purpose, to raise money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation for cancer survivorship programs and treatment' research. The LAF is a grassroots program designed to assist those living with, through and beyond cancer.
