Continued from Page B1 cars that flipped over the cliff or something like that. I had to sit in the front, which I never do. (This entry has a dramatic sketch of a road climbing down a cliff.) On day one, we had to pack everything up into dry bags. We did get on the boats, though. Later, we camped on an island. We rowed for seven miles, then the next day we rowed for 14 miles. All the birds were singing happily, and the fish were nibbling on my toes. It. was really hot, and everybody got tanned and sunburned. In the morning we all went on a hike up in a cave and found tons of bones, and we even found some skulls. It was a bobcat house. It brought all of its food up to its house. It was kinda a nightmare for me. Well, first I was running to the tent with sand blowing in my eyes! With my eyes barely open, me and Jazz were both running. We the tent first. Then all of a sudden the wind came from the other side! I fell forward and everything was falling around me! I yelled Daddy right as I fell! I reached for our stuffed bunny, Princess. My daddy tipped me back up. Jazz was chasing Philips tent, which she caught. It was really scary and very exciting. Our friends Emma and Dean went with me in the little boat attached to the lead boat and played a game that we each had different powers. Today the water is calm and cold, and it feels very refreshing on my feet and legs. This morning when Martha was trying to put something in the canoe she jumped on the wrong part and fell in the really deep water. Yesterday, Emma, Dean, and I went on the little raft attached to the lead boat and played a game that all the adults were ghosts and all the kids were monkeys. That was really fun. Today the air is warm and a little moist. The water feels nice and cool. The most important part was crossing from the Green River to the Colorado River. That part was SOOO cool because I was in two rivers at one time. It was so amazing because the Colorado and the Green are different in color. The Colorado is so much cleaner. So that is one of my favorite parts, the Confluence. Another of my favorite parts is when we saw a giant spider. We have no idea what kind of single track trails... 6. Just a little while ago we went on the big speed boat and saw so many different kinds of birds. We also saw some really big rocks that were just on the edge of falling. It was really cool! The next thing was going on the bus. It was a 40 year old school bus! I was so surprised! Jazz concludes, with the understatement only a kid can have: Ive really enjoyed this trip.
