Show (Dre Page A4 Etmgg-3nhgpnTftc- Thursday, July 3, 2003 nt Funeral service set for July 5 for Glen Ekker Obituaries July 3 service set for Anthony Nicholas York Matthew Allen Goode Safety Dive died June 29, 2003 Our beloved little boy, Andrew Nicholas York, returned to his Father in Heaven on Sunday, June 22, 2003 He was born January 3, 1998 Andrew was a bright, creative little boy He loved playing with Legos, Transformers, Te a m , the Na- tion a Park Service, and to riding ponies, and playing with his bunny, Cordon He and his sister Lassie were inseparable Andrew had a special little spirit, and he brought light to the lives of all those who knew him He is survived by his father, Devin K York, his mother, Nannette Renee Losee, lus sister, Ashley, 17, brother, Devin Geoffrey, 13, and sister Cassandra Lassie, 8, grandfather Jerry York, Orem, Utah, grandparents Ferril and Dona Losee, Provo, Utah, as wi as many aunts, uncles, and cousins We will r( member the joy he brought to our lives forever The family wants to extend a special thanks to the Grand County Search & Rescue, the Department of Public 11 1 a 1 1 other and volunteers who participated in the search and recovery on the Colorado River. He has returned home to his Father in Heaven, where he was greeted by his grandparents, Byrd and Joyce Pearson, and his cousin, Richard Roylance. He was bom on August 22, 1980 to Allen and Edith Pearson Goode in Provo, Utah. Matt attended schools in Provo and Moab. He was working in Moab as a well driller. His journey in life, although much too brief, was one of wonder, excitement, and great adventures. Each day was met with his boyish pleasure and enthusiasm. He was born July 31, 1919 in Hanksville, Utah to Cornelius and Edna Gibbons Ekker, the sixth son of twelve children. He attended schools in Hanksville, Bicknell and Grand Junction. He married Cula Taft, December 3 1 , 194 1 in Bicknell, Utah. He joined the Air Force April 4, 1942, where he served as a flight engineer on He was a rancher and sold his ranch to Reo Hunt and moved to Bicknell where his wife had the Sunglow Cafe for many years. He was a uranium miner in Garfield County with his late brother Harold, he was a heavy equipment operator, building Highways 24 and 95.
