Saturday 8 CENTENNIAL PARK Centennial Park is located near the South Gate and is available to rent for picnics. There are three pavilions. THE LOG CABIN on base is available to rentfor parties, weddings, receptions, reunions, squadron functions, etc.. FISHING POND Children under the age of 18 can fish in the pond by the Log Cabin. Buy season licenses for $5. Or a day pass for $1 at Outdoor Recreation, Bldg.524. FAMILY CAMP: Rates are just $10 per night and include electricity. Hie Family Camp also has a new restroom, shower, laundry facility. All DoD employees and retirees are eligible to use the Family Camp sites. You should be in good physical condition to make this six mile round trip hike.This moderately difficult hike departs from Outdoor Rec, bldg. 524 at 4 p.m. Well break for a picnic dinner at 6:30 p.m. Then return back by 10:30 p.m. Cost is $3, you need to bring back pack, a light picnic dinner and a water bottle or canteen. Age limit 8 years, minimum of 5 hikers and maximum 12 hikers. SHEEPROCK MOUNTAINS ATVTRIP: May Beautiful scenery, wildlife and rugged fun trails await you on this trip. Trip includes transportation, ATV riding for 2 half days, helmet, gas and oil, campground, trip leader, 1 dinner, lunch and breakfast Cost is $74 per person. Only one rider per ATV and no one under the age of 18. Minimum of 5 people, maximum of 7 people. INDIAN TRAILS SINGLES EVENING HIKE: May 25, The hike is 4.2 miles and is considered moderately difficult We will take two vehicles and start the hike in Ogden Canyon and end up at the top of 22nd street The trip departs Bldg. 524 at 4:30 p.m. and arrive at the trailhead at 5: 15 p.m. and returns at 9:30 p.m. The trip includes the trip leader, transportation, and vehicle shuttle. Please bring hiking shoes, water bottle and snacks.
