This class is offered once a week Today, discussing strategies for weight control such as healthy eating, portion sizes, dealing with eating triggers and determining a healthy weight and calorie needs. WALKING CLUB: Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at noon-12:3- 0 p.m. Club offered to walkers or those who would like to exercise but hate doing it alone. We will meet at the HAWC, Bldg. 1277 for about a two mile walk. MAINTAIN- - DONT GAIN: Among the many pleasure of the holidays are foods and festivities of the season. But for many, these present a challenge. Many Americans gain pounds every year over the holidays. The HAWC will be holding a Maintain- - Don't Gain Weight Management Challenge. Here are the rules: 1. Team consist of groups of five people. 2. We will weigh the group the week before Thanksgiving. 3. During the season-wortogether as a team. Support each other in physical activity and healthy holiday eating. 4. After the New Year each team will be weighted again and those who maintained-an- d didn't gain will be entered into a drawing to win prizes.
