Evening performances begin at 7 p.m.; matinees on Saturday, Dec. 16, 22, 23, 26, 27 and 30 are at 2 p.m. Under the artistic direction of Terence Kern, the Utah Chamber Orchestra will accompany all Nutcracker performances. On Dec. 30, patrons attending the matinee or evening performance are invited to attend the "First Night" activities by turning in their tickets stubs at the Capitol Theatre and receiving a free "First Night" button. Single tickets to The Nutcracker range from $ 0 to $40 and are now available at Albertson's ArtTix The "Winter Wonderland" will be the Academy's annual theme, but it will also be include concerts and other cultural events. The academy has purchased some white lights that will outline the almost building.
