The Cougars satisfied their appetite for a victory Friday night 4-by knocking off Gonzaga 0 at South Field. For BYU coach Jennifer Rock-wooit was just what the doctor d, ordered. "It was a good game for us," she said. "This is what we really needed. It's a good confidence booster." Forward Michelle Jensen, who came to BYU via Olympus High School and Salt Lake Community College, got the Cougars rolling in the first half with two goals in the 21st minute. ; "Michelle came uut and got us going," Rockwood said. "But we had a lot of people involved." One of Jensen's goals came on a breakaway. She beat a defender and fooled Gonzaga's goalie before lofting the ball into the net. Her second score, about 45 seconds later, was a header after a free kick by BYU's Leanne Johnson. Freshman Shauna Rohbock, out of Orem's Mountain View High School and one of the WAC's top scorers, was a key ingredient in the Comgars' offensive attack all night. Rohbock scored a goal just before halftime and set up several scoring opportunities for teammates. After a slow start in the game's opening minutes, BYU dominated most of the match. Cougar forwards sent a flurry of shots around and above Gonzaga goalie Sara Kinsky. BYU's fourth goal came with 22 minutes expired in the second half when freshman KcHi AJIen broke away from defenders vvlih. the ball and sent it through tllc posts.
