Show IMMACULATE CONCEPTION '' ALTAR SOCIETY XMAS PARTY It was beginning to look more like Christmas last Tuesday evening, even-ing, Deo. 1 8 when members of the Immaculate Conception Altar Society So-ciety held their annual Christmas dinner party in the church hall. The table was beautifully set with the ' vuleride theme. Centerpiece was the Madonna with an arrangement arrange-ment of holly, poinsettias and green candles. The clever favors were wine glasses filled with Christmas candy and tied with green and red bows. Prior to the dinner Father John J. Sullivan, pastor, was presented pre-sented a monetary gift from the altar society by Mrs. William Ab-lett, Ab-lett, president. A delicious turkey dinner was served to Father Sullivan and his mother, Mrs. Timothy Sullivan of Tooele, the following members and guests of the society: Mrs. Ella Bills, Mrs. Julio Olan, Mrs. Victor Bononcini, Mrs. Blaine Milner, Mrs. Frank Guarascio, Mrs. Carrie Doyle, Mrs. John King, Mrs. Joe Osoro, Mrs. Gene Dellagnola, Mrs. William Ablett, Mrs. William Page, Mrs. Edith Scuisel, Mrs. Tall, Mrs. Mark Muhar, Mrs. Ross Cushing, Mrs. Ralph Murano, Mrs. John Anderson, Ander-son, Mrs. Nick Pazell, Mrs. Sergio Garcia, Mrs. Verio Kendrick, Mrs. John Osoro, Mrs. Pete Zabala, Mrs. Sam Dispenza, Mrs. Guy Delia Lucia, Lu-cia, Mrs. John Muhar, Mrs. Boyd Anderson, Mrs. Verl Peterson, Mrs. Rita Ugarte and Miss Connie Mochizuki. Following the dinner, a round of Christmas games was enjoyed by members and guests and much later in the evening Christmas carols were sung with Mrs. John Anderson Ander-son at the piano, then gifts were exchanged. Hostesses for the evening even-ing were Mrs. Murano, Mrs. Ablett and Mrs. Dellagnola. |
