Show DELEGATES NAMED TO STATE FIREMEN'S MEET AT CEDAR CITY AUG. 1-3 The Bingham Volunteer Fire Department has named its delegates dele-gates and alternates to the 40th annual state convention of the Utah State Firemen's Ass'n which will convene in Cedar City next week Thursday through Saturday, Satur-day, August 1-3. They are: Fire Chief John J. Creedon who also is state association secretary; Asst. Fire Chief Ross M. Cushing, Verl Peterson, Frank Guarascio, Sam Lovat, Verio Kend. ick, Joe Dispenza, Dean Ham, Arthur D. Bentley, Boyd Anderson, Leonard Leon-ard Bell, Harold Chester, Evan Miller, Kenneth Smith and Boyd J. Nerdin. Others making plans to go to the convention are: Hos-mer Hos-mer Peterson, Harold W. Nielsen, Tony Jacobson, Jack Maher, and Mrs. Mae Stillman who acts as convention stenographer. The men are being accompanied to the convention by their wives. Those from the Bingham Department De-partment who will receive 10-year 10-year certificates are Harold Nielsen Niel-sen and Evan Miller and to receive re-ceive 25-year certificates are James Culleton and James Car-rigan. Car-rigan. The Bingham bunch will take part in the parade on the first day. Also the local department depart-ment will be represented in the tournament. They are competing in the combination motor and hose race. The Bingham group is leaving Wednesday for the southern Utah city and will stay at the Cedar Crest Motel. |
