Dean Harding of Orem, and Mark Kendall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Kendall of Provo, exchanged' marriage MRS. MARK KENDALL (Jill Harding) Grooming Guide Designer Mollie Parnis believes "midi" is a misnomer. "A longer dress is being accepted," she said. "Women will wear a wardrobe of lengths from about an inch below the knee to longer for the younger girls. Miss Parnis said she can't imagine anyone buying a short dress today. They were honored at a late bridal dinner hosted by the groom's parents. The bride's gown was of white peau de soie under sheer fabric. The empire waistline was accented with a pink ribbon and delicate" faggoting highlighted the high neck and long sleeves. The floor4ength veil was caught in a flowered headpiece which the embroidered flowers on bodice, sleeves and sweeping train. She carried a cascading bouquet of white and pink roses. Attending the bride were Una Rae Averett, maid of honor, and Deanne Walker and Jeana Harding, bridesmaids. They wore gowns of pink brocade satin and carried balls formed of white and pink roses. Jeana Kendall and Tamara Rowley were flower girls. Evan Kendall attended to the duties of best man. While Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Harding and Mr. and Mrs. Karl Kendall greeted guests 2i the door. Decor for the reception that followed the ceremony was carried out in pink and cranberry. Special guests included Mr. and Mrs. Preston Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin W.Harding and Mrs. Effie Johnson. The bride was honored at prenuptial parties hosted by Mrs. Leslie Bell and Una Rae Walker. Stagg of Provo and the late Frank W. Stagg, to Hyrum J. Cossey, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Cossey of Orem, is announced by her mother. The prospective bride is a graduate of Provo High School, where she was affiliated with the A Capella Choir, and LDS Seminary. She also attended Ricks College, where she was a member of the Ricks College Choir, and is presently attending Utah Technical College at Provo. She is employed in Provo as a dental assistant. Mr. Cossey graduated from Orem High School and is attending Young Brigham University. He has served with the Utah National Guard and is presently employed in Orem. Jan. 11 has been chosen as the wedding date.
