Harold Goodman, chairman of the Music Department, as guest conductor. In the past, the Sinfonietta has performed without conductor. "Dances for Harp with String Orchestra (Sacred and Profane)" by Dubussy, will be the first number of the program. Louise Pratt will solo in this piece, typical of the Debussy impressionism. "The Virtuoso Revisted" by Richard' Nibley, will feature the composer as the solo violinist. Sanuel Barber's "Capricorn Concerto" will be the third num- soloists. The final number for the eve ning will be Bach's "Cantata No. 140." Described by Darrel Stubbs as probably the example of the cantata form, this number will feature five soloists: Margaret Woodward, soprano; Clayne Robison, best-kno- bass; Brandt Curtis, tenor; Percy Kalt, violin; and Stubbs, oboe.
