Pearce believes that the Huskies will be especially in the mid and long . distance running events, the 440 through the two mile run. Runners to watch in the 440 include David Miller, Lee Jacobson, Troy and Derek Haney, Tolman; in the 880 Tyler Draper and Scott Dudley; in the 880 Brian Scott; in the mile, Dave Jenkins, Jace Brewer, and Kevin Griffin; and in the two mile event, Ken Bern-maRay Oderizzi, and the high jump; Del Mitchell and Glen Briggs in the pole vault; Paul Ward in the long jumpo;iand Ray Greer, Russ Duke, Allen Nelson, and John Henri in the weight events. . .
