Show Bike thieves beware! You're being watched West Jordan bike thieves beware! The police department's new arrest and recovery program is working. Since it was implemented in November, 27 bicycles have been stolen within the city and 35 recovered. The figures stand in vivid contrast to those for the first ten months of I960 when 208 bikes were reported missing and 68 were recovered. The program combines the efforts of police and w West Jordan children. Det. Martin Fairbanks, school resource officer, encourages youth to report any information on bike thefts to him or another officer.
