Midvale southern part of the valley and looked long and hard for the right spot, according to general manager Terry Fisher. The Midvale site, formerly Bodie and McCabes, had everything they were searching for. "We wanted a growing area, centrally located, that generates a lot of traffic," commented Fisher. "We knew this area was busy, but even we were surprised by the amount of traffic around here." Of course the traffic is spawned by the rapid commercial expansion in the 7200 South area, which includes a . cluster of new motels. The occupancy rate for those motels is among the highest in the valley, especially dur2I23& ing the ski season, and Mullboon's is in a good position to serve that ski crowd. Even without the easy access and the busy traffic flow, it's doubtful Mullboon's would ever go begging for customers. The reason's are simple: the food and the service. Mullboon's "calling card" has always been its complementary dozens of tasty shrimp bowl shrimp, cooked in the shell, served itlClQZSiSt (22 on ice with cocktail sauce. Fisher admitted it's an attention getter, but added, "it may get them to try us, but you need something more to get them to come back." Rice is also serving about 150 each day for lunch. "And it's still growing," Rice continued. "We're off to a great start." Mullboon's is, obviously, very glad to be in Midvale and, so far as Midvale city officials are concerned, the feeling is mutual. "The city council, mayor, attorney and administrator have been just great," stated Fisher. "They worked with us every step of the way. They seemed to anticipate our needs and were able to keep things moving along." witpvpO c illy I MURRAY PARK ICE SKATING RINK IS NOW OPEN pit : out-of-to- 335 East Vine St. REGULAR HOURS: WEEK mm rE3iJma!P 4:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Noon to 6:00 p.m. SATURDAY - n DAYS HOLIDAY HOURS: SUNDAY n asm AHMICcirM 8:00 p.m. (Closed Christmas & New Years) Q Noon to (December 24 thru December 31) Noon To p.m.-8:0- 1 7 yrs. & under 1 8 yrs. & over SKATE RENTAL 75 50 ICE SKATING LESSONS will begin on January 5 and will consist of six thirty minute lessons for M 0.00 Lessons will be given on Saturday mornings!
