The exhibits in the main building show to g od advantage the diversity of business interests here and the enterprise of all clas-- of merchants in making the finest possible displays. The fair is recognized as a great and powerful advertising medium, even though no prizes or awards are captured. Examples of this may be seen on every square foot of the main building. One of the most conspicuous of these is the exhibit of a local music store in which ''an be found virtually everything In the music line from a mandolin pick to a grand piano, and from a violin bridge to a pianola. The latter was kept, s the interims between busy yesterday band numbers. Among other dis displays are those of Mehesy, furrier, and Fred Hedlisky, leather goods. The Salt Lake Saddlerv company has an attractive display of harness, I. L. Paulsen has a large display of show cases and J. G. McDonald has a largo coiner for his candies. The Salt Lake Fluff Hug works also have a large display of the products of their in looms. The live stock exhibit is the finest ever seen here. In this section are six thoroughbred horses which were imported from Paris for exhibition pur- poses in this country. They are magnificent specimens of their kind and will be paraded before the grand stand on Monday. The parade will take place between the races of that day. Four of the horses are from the Oakland stock farm of Wayne. 111. They are heavy draft horses and are considered among the finfMt of that breed. The other two are coach horses and are the property of Messrs. Springer and Stubbs of the 1'nlon stock farm of Denver. Nearly All Awards Made. The judges in all departments with the exception of the live stock department, completed their work yesterday. The live stock judges will complete their task today. They, however, awarded some of their prizes before adjourning. Prizes w re awarded in class 1 of Shorthorns for bulls three years old and over. The first and second nrizes were captured by John II.
