Show JL Eight Result !n Injuries 23 Crashes Listed In (A nnua Spnngi I Valley During Storm More than 23 traffic accidents of varying degrees of seriousness were reported in Utah Valley during the weekend's heavy juries when a ear he was rid ing in, driven by Joseph King rain storm. At least eight of them resulted In personal injuries, none requiring hospitalization beyond initial treatment. Ten of the accidents were reported on Provo streets, three with injuries. Elizabeth W. Call, 23, of 68 E. 700 N., Provo, was injured when a car she was driving was involved in a collision with a vehicle operated by Craig A. Tolboe, 16, of 1199 Elm Ave., Provo, police said. Apparently her injuries did not require hospitalization. The accident was at 500 N. 400 E., in the city. Jerry W. Police also reported one driver and two passengers injured in an accident at Highway 75 and Highway SI near Springville when cars driven by Vera M. and Nelson, 55, Springville, Lawrence Arthur Chynoweth, Grantsville, collided. Mr. Nelson was taken to Utah Valley Hospital with head cuts and a chest injury, and a passenger in his car, Ted B. Marsh, 37, Mapleton, was taken there with a cut chin and tongue, and Lavina J. Chynoweth, 60, Grantsville, a passenger in the Cheynoweth vehicle, was taken there with a chest injury. Apparently, none was hospitalized. Troopers said Vaughn Ray Strong, American Fork, was at an open house being hosted by her family in honor of her 80th birthday. She requests no gifts. Her children are Mrs. Stella H. Oaks of Provo; Mrs. E. A. Wilson of American Fork, A. Grant Harris of Alpine and Mrs. Eugene Tuckett of American Fork.
