Their corsages were of cymbidium orchids. The bridegrpoml'i brother, Homer J. Sheffield served him as the best 'man. Assisting in receiving guests were Mr. and ' Mrs. vRussell Sheffield, Mr. and Mrs. Stacy Garn, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Young, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Morris, with another brother of the bridegroom, Beck Sheffield, introducing guests to the bridal party. Mrs., Harold Dunford and Mrs. Douglas Hill registered the guests. Two large lace umbrellas filled with mock orange and white and pink blossoms hung above the receiving line.! The many small tables arranged in the serving area were centered with rose bowls and floating pink roses. Punch was served from a long table covered with a lace cloth over pink satin. An arrangement of pink roses and white candles decorated one end while the wedding cake adorned the other end. Topping the cake were fresh lily of the valley and rosebuds. Pouring were . A wedding breakfast at the Lion House honored the couple following the temple ceremony which was performed by Hugh B. Brown, member of the Council of Twelve Apostles. For the reception the bride wore her bridal gown of slipper satin which was lavishly appliqued with imported lace on the bodice and sleeves. For the reception the bride chose' a ballerina length gown niade with full skirt of white nylon and Valencia lace. Her bridal bouquet combined shatter . ed white, carnations and yellow roses. Adding a pretty note to the receiving jline were the bride's attendants, Deori Davidson, Cora Nielsen jand Kathleen Clark gowned respectively in lavender taffeta, green taffeta and yeiiow brocaded taffeta. A floral note was added in their bouquets of yellow roses and white carnations. Mrs. blark, the bride's mother wore a gown of pink brocade while Mrs. Nielsen chose beige crepe. Stone recited wedding vows Monday evening with Reed Orton of Lindon In a lovely garden ceremony with President Philo T. Edwards officiating. The wedding was held in the garden of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Louder. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Viola and the late W. G. Kocher-han- s. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Grover C. Orton of Payson. Mr. Orton was unable to attend. Walking in the bridal procession with the bride and bridegroom were his mother, Mrs. Orton, accompanied by his son, Howard, and his daughter, Mrs. Hal (RaNae) Jensen of Lindon; her mother, Mrs. Kocherhans, ac companied by a son; Chester, and the bride's daughter, Judy Stone. The lovely background music was recorded by Mrs. Lavor Kocher hans, The bridal party stood before a fragrant rrchway of pink and white carnations and daisies with baskets of pink and white peonies throughout the garden. The bride was lovely in a suit of white linen and she wore an orchid corsage with orchid accessories. There were no attendants. The mothers wore gowns of rose colored lace and net with a corsage of white carnations. About 75 family members attended the wedding and the small reception following. The guests were greeted at the garden en trance by the bride's sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Louder. A brief program was enjoyed with Lavor Kocherhans, brother of the bride, as master of ceremonies. There were several vocal selections sung- - by Mrs. Kocher- - hans to recorded music. The young Clinger sisters, Melodie, Peggy, Patricia and Debora sang several selections. The toast to the bride was given by Mrs. Louder and the toast to the groom by his brother, Byron Orton. Dainty tray refreshments were served by Judy Stone, Sherry and Deon Louder, Judy Peterson and Susan Kocherhans. The bride and groom opened the many lovely gifts at the conclusion of the evening. The couple left for a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas and the p&rks and on their return will make their home in Lindon. I mother.
