Brown of Provo announce, the engagement of their daughter, Lavon Brown, to Charles Moultcm Brewer, son. of Dr. and Mrs. C. M. Brewer of ; HyatsviUe, Md. Miss Brown is a graduate of Brigham ..Young University, where she was a member of Alpha Lamb da. Delta, Calcares, and O. S. Troyata social unit. She also attended the University of Utah, doing work. -- In 1952 .Miss Brown was Utah's Dairy Darling and the same year was the Days of '47 Queen. She was: chosen Miss Utah of 1953, and participated .in the Miss America Pageant tteld in Atlantic City, N. J. A reception will be held at the Winkler home that same evening. Mary Lu is'a graduate of Brigham Young University with a major in homemaking education. At BYU she was a member of Val Norn social unit. She is now teaching in Provo. Paul will be graduated this spring from the BYU with a major in physical education. He has played for three years on the BYU varsity baseball team and has served four years in the U. S. Navy.
