Park City Film Series: ‘Eighth Grade’ The Park City Film Series will present “Eighth Grade,” rated R, through Sunday, Oct. 7, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium. Sunday’s screening will start at 6 p.m. Written and directed by comedian Bo Burnham, “Eighth Grade,” which premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, is a darkly funny film that follows 13-year-old Kayla. She endures the tidal wave of emotions that follow her through the last weeks of middle school – the end of her eighth grade year. General admission tickets are $8. The screening is part of the Books 2 Movies series. Based on Madeleine L’Engle’s classic novel, “A Wrinkle in Time” follows an ordinary girl’s journey to save her family. This group covers topics relevant to all people struggling with any type of disordered eating.
