Solo Show Fidalis Buehler at Meyer Gallery An artist reception for Fidalis Buehler will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, at Meyer Gallery, 305 Main St. Buehler was born and raised in the Pacific Islands. He is a longtime Utah resident and current BYU Art professor who creates whimsical and thought provoking oil paintings. Park City Film Series: ‘Neruda’ The Park City Film Series will screen Pablo Larrain’s “Neruda,” rated R, through Sunday, March 5, at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. Saturday’s screenings will start at 8 p.m. Sunday’s screening will start at 6 p.m. Pablo Neruda (Luis Gnecco) is the most famous communist in post-WWII Chile. When the political tides shift, he is forced underground, with a tenacious police inspector (Gael García Bernal) hot on his trail. Neruda, however, sees the struggle with his police inspector nemesis as an opportunity to reinvent himself. A special wine tasting reception with Chilean wine from Amayna and Boya vineyards will be held for ages 21 and older on Saturday, March 4, at 6:30 p.m. Special tickets for Saturday’s tasting and film are $35. Lidia Yuknavitch Park City Institute will present Lidia Yuknavitch at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, at the Eccles Center for the Performing Arts, 1750 Kearns Blvd. Self-proclaimed misfit, teacher and awardwinning author Lidia Yuknavitch (“Dora: A Headcase,” “The Chronology of Water,” “The Small Backs of Children”) comes to the stage with her plain-speak, Oregon-style delivery on March 4. Yuknavitch got her big break in the writing world at the age of 30 – after an abusive childhood, failed marriages, a stint or two in jail and rehab, flunking out of college and losing a child.
