He was born in American Fork to Lillie and Edwin Wilde on Sept. 27, 1908. He graduated from American Fork High School after playing It i Vi ni basketball and baseball. He married Dessie Beck on July 18, 1928 in Salt Lake with their Temple work being done in February ii of 1929. He grew up working. He worked the fields in American Fork; he 'worked with survey crews in & fete,,.,. ,i ii 6' f.teble Forward Biggs VVilde American Fork Canyon. Once married, he worked for DTR, for the Training School, guided at Timpanogos Cave,1 worked as the American Fork Cemetery sexton; and retired after many years as a heater with Geneva Steel. He had a variety of callings in the LDS Church. To him, Dutchman Flat in American Fork Canyon and the mountains around it were most of the way to heaven. Visits there lifted his spirit and strengthened his stride. He loved his family and he liked and respected people. He died as a high priest in the Heritage Care Center Branch. In Heritage, he was taken care of by lovely people. He was preceded in death by his ' ij w t v i iUvk u wife, Desste, who died April 20, 1982. He missed her when she died Mable Forward Bigga, 96, of Spanish Fork, Utah, passed away and he missed her till he died. He is survived by son, Stanford R. Wilde and wife Marcia Noyes of American Fork; grandchildren Jason and Christie (Brian) Nielson; greatgrandchild Justin; and three sisters, Myrtle Moffett of Ann Arbor, Mich.; Berniece Cassell of Ogden and Lillian Overton of Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, at 11 a.m. in the American Fork LDS 8th Ward Chapel, 320 N. 100 East. Friends may calf Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 North, American Fork, or at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be in American Fork Cemetery. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on July 25, 1928. He died June 6, 1981. Mable attended school in Varteg, South Wales. She worked at Primary Children's Hospital. She loved to '' knit, crochet and read The Book of Mormon. She loved dolls. She was an active member of The Church of Saints Jesus Christ of Latter-dawhere she held many positions. Mable is survived by two sons and four daughters: Ruby B. (Sam) Hansen of Spanish Fork; Inez B. (Bob) Ferguson of Orem; Thomas Roy (Jean Ann) Biggs of American Fork; Ruth B. (Glen) Roundy of Provo; Joan B. (Ernst) Eichler of Spanish Fork; David F. (Virginia) Biggs of Spanish Fork; 61 grandchildren; 151 greatgrandchildren; and 20 She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Jean B. (Stanley) Burch; two sons, Ralph C.
