It all began when an entertainer friend asked him to design the lighting for an exclusive new Paris cabaret. Georges held a degree in electrical engineering, had won first prize at the Paris Exposition. Lighting was child's play to him. Everything was fine until suddenly on opening night his friend fell critically ill and begged Georges to perform in his stead. There was a simple little act which Georges used to do at parties dressing up hlsflngers and dancing. He did it for the cabaret audience that night, interspersing the dance with jokes and songs,v and they liked it every bit as well as his friends had. He stayed there for five years, keeping up the morale of his fellow prisoners with his .dancing fingers, performing operas, even ballets. Recently Georges Andre Martin brought his educated fingers to the United, States where they are delighting all with tfyeir dexterity.
