Eldon Johnson and Varcol Pollock of Salt Lake City will leave today (Friday) to go hunting hunt-ing in southern Utah. They will be joined by Loren Pollock of Nevada. Mrs. Theresa McPhee is spending spend-ing a few days at the Francis Sax home. She has been staying at the home of Mrs. Albertina Sax of Midvale. Mrs. Sax left Monday Mon-day for California where she will attend the funeral of an uncle who died earlier that day. Mrs. McPhee will return to Midvale when Mrs. Sax returns from California. getting acquainted with the archives. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Sax visited vis-ited in Salt Lake City Tuesday evening at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred McPhee and Mr. and Mrs. Alton Keyser. Mrs. Joe A. Jenson is entertaining enter-taining her luncheon and bridge foursome today (Friday). DeLilly Pratt spent the week end in Provo visiting with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Alexander. Students participating in the Copperton Ward Road Show, Sherryl Farley and Shirlee Johnson enjoyed roller skating Thursday evening at the S and M rink. Mrs. Ken Eastman and her sister, sis-ter, Gay Armitstead, are vacationing vaca-tioning in California. While there they will visit with Mr. Eastman and other friends and relatives. Mrs. Don Stoddart celebrated her 'birthday anniversary Friday, October 11, by having her family over for birthday cake and ice cream. Mrs. Sally Taylor, Mrs. Pearl Cheever and Mrs. Pearl Knudsen spent Saturday in Salt Lake City. Wednesday evening visitors at the Clinton Poulsen home were Mr. and Mrs. Don Poulsen and daughters of Midvale. Copperton Ward Primary preparation pre-paration meeting was held Thurs day, Oct. 10, at the wardhouse with Mrs. Melba Harker, Primary president, presiding over ' the meeting. The lesson was given by Mrs. Betty Winn. Ten members mem-bers were present. Mrs. McDonald is an aunt to Mrs. Peterson. Mrs. Gladys O'Connor of Salt Lake City spent Sunday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Art Fike and son, Bill. The Kend-ricks Kend-ricks left Monday morning for a vacation in Portland, Ore. The genealogical workship will hold their last meeting Wednesday, Wednes-day, October 23, at 7:00 p.m. It will be under the direction of Raymond Larsen and only those who belong are urged to come and finish up their genealogical work. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cowdell attended a family dinner Monday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Cowdell of Midvale. .Mrs. Louis DeCol and family, Edith, Maxine and Richard, visited vis-ited in Salt Lake Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Milton Korous and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Korous. Girls from Copperton making application into the Minerette Club are: Peggy Blake, Pearl Milner, Jeannette Pino, Nancy Crellin, Bonnie Harker, Linda Long, Marian Murano, Linda Brisk, Claudia Murano and Linda Lin-da Smernoff. Initiation into the club has been held this week. We will know by Monday who the new members will be. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Stoker gave a lovely party Wednesday at their home in Midvale for some Copperton friends. Those attending attend-ing were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Larsen and daughter, Lois, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Diederich, Mr. and Mrs. George A. Gadd, ' Mr. and Mrs. Ray Olsen, Mr. and Mrs. H. A.
