Show CLUB DANCE AT RAINBOW RANDEVU THIS SATURDAY NIGHT An R. C. Gemmell Club dance will be held at the Rainbow Ran-devu Ran-devu in Salt Lake City this Saturday Sat-urday night, October 19 according accord-ing to Carl E. Wilson, club entertainment chairman. Dancing will be from 9:00 p.m. to midnight mid-night with music provided by Dell Bush and his orchestra. Club members only. o B.D.A.A. FLASHES by Jim Abplanalp TURKEY SHOOT WINNERS The 1957 BDAA Turkey and Chicken Shoot, held last month, was again enjoyed by a large number of members. Some very good scores were rung up by the contestants, and many members will enjoy their prizes for Thanks giving dinner A total of 22 turkeys and 28 chickens will be given to the winners. Following is a list of winners: Turkey winners in the small toore shoot Glen Hogan, R. Poulsen, Bill Fike, R. C. Rauer, Elwin Winn and Mrs. C. E. Ball. Chicken winners in the small bore shoot: D. Throckmorton, Wally Johnson, Art Fike, Bob Ford, Lynn Miller and Mrs. C. ftobison. Turkey winners in the big toore shoot Glen Hogan, Eugene Jenkins, Jen-kins, Wally Johnson, Verl Harrison, Harri-son, Jack Householder, and Mrs. Kendall Timothy. Chicken winners in the big bore shoot Dennis Scroggin, George Abplanalp, Eldon Bray, C. Robison, S. Robinett, and Mrs. C. E. Ball. In the lucky target shoots, winners of turkeys were: Tommy Pazell, D. Sutherland, Miles Anderson, J. Anderson Sr., Alt Fike, Mrs. W. Granquist, Johnny Brown, Martin Jensen, Bill An-dreason, An-dreason, and Lowell Jensen. Lucky target winners of chickens were: G. Markovich Jr., J. D. Laycock, Larry Johnson, Don Diederich, Russell Abplanalp, Cloyd Harrison, Udell Wankier, F. Zaccaria, Phil Downs, Barry Snow, Mrs. Marion Cowdell, Mrs. George Gadd Sr., Steven Morley, Russell Jackson, Leslie Nichols, and Ken llakanson. Tickets will be made out for the winners in tha near future and winners will be able to obtain ob-tain their birds in time for Thanksgiving. Preps At Tooele The local prep grid squad travelled to Tooele last night (Thursday) to try for their first A league victory. The flu has curtailed a lot of prep games, tout we hope the rest of the season sea-son goes as scheduled. Bingham plays its next home game October 25 at 7:30 p.m. a-gainst a-gainst Olympus, and will play Jordan here on November 1. |
