Show las Club as guests of the World Trade Ass'n for Utah. During the afternoon, members of the delegation dele-gation separated for individual tours selected by themselves. In the evening they dined at the Country Club with Kennecott personnel. The group left Salt Lake City by plane Saturday morning. ! o members of the Chamber of Deputies; De-puties; and Honorable Ernesto Goycoolea Cortes, secretary, Chamber of Deputies. Utah dignitaries attending the banquet included:' Honorable Arthur Ar-thur V. Watkins, U.S. Senator from Utah who delivered the welcoming address; Honorable William A. Dawson and Honorable Honor-able H. Aldous Dixon, both Congressmen from Utah; and Honorable George D. Clyde, Governor of Utah. Heading the hosting group was C. D. Michaelson, general manager, man-ager, Western Mining Divisions, Kennecott Copper Corp., former general manager and vice president presi-dent of the Braden Copper Co. in Chile. The six - member delegation was interviewed by press, radio and television representatives Wednesday evening, followed by dinner at the Hotel Utah Gold Room. On Friday, the delegation visited vis-ited with the First Presidency of the L.D.S. (Mormon) Church and Governor Clyde. They then toured tour-ed Kennecott's Research Center and had lunch at the Fort Doug- SIX MEMBERS OF CHILEAN PARLIAMENT ARE GUESTS OF KENNECOTT Salt Lake City Six members of the Chilean Parliament were special guests Thursday,. October 10 at a banquet attended by some 80 governmental, civic and business busi-ness leaders from throughout Utah. The six-member delegation are participants in the Foreign Leader Lead-er Exchange program of the International In-ternational Educational Exchange Service of the United States Department De-partment of State. They are visiting vis-iting Utah as guests of Kennecott Copper Corporation and its Utah Cobper Division. The group arrived in Salt Lake City Wednesday evening, Oct. 9 and spent Thursday touring operations op-erations of the Utah Copper Division. Di-vision. They visited the companys famed open-pit copper jnine in Bingham Canyon and its jnills and refinerv.
