Fritz, received the Civilian of the Quarter Award for Jan. 1 March 31. Each received a letter of commendation signed by Maj. Gen. Dale W. Thompson, Jr., commander, Ogden Air Logistics Center. Bushman is a contract negotiator on the Commodities Directorate ammunition team. Her award was in the GS-and below (nonsupervisory) category. Bushman is a graduate of Weber State University with a bachelor's degree in logistics management. She was hired at Hill as an outstanding scholar. During Operation Desert Storm, she put in many extra hours and traveled to England to expedite delivery of explosive items and ejection seats needed to support the gulf war effort. Robert P. Fritz won his award in the WG-1and below category. Fritz is a WG-- sewage disposal plant operator, who has worked for the federal government since 1981. He is a native of Milwaukee, Wis., and is a U.S. Air Force veteran. His nomination package states that he always displays outstanding initiative, technical ability and superior knowledge of his career field. "Regardless of the task, Mr. Fritz can always be relied upon to solve any problem that may arise. Kries of the 34th Aircraft Maintenance Unit was named Company Grade Officer of the Quarter for April-Jun- e 1991. As the assistant officer in charge, Kries is responsible for producing more than 6,000 annual sorties and supervising maintenance on 24 6 aircraft. Wilson, 2849th Security Police Squadron, and A1C Roy Siegel, 1881st Communications-Computer Systems Group, won the second quarter Military Image Awards in the NCO and airman categories, respectively.
