The three are: Steven G. Nelson of the Technology and Industiial Support Directorate, executive management category; Kristine S. Aldous of the Contracting Directorate, middle management; and Robert T. Elliott of the Environmental Management Directorate, junior management. In addition, Douglas J. Friedli, Contracting Directorate, will represent Ogden ALC in competition for the Ten Outstanding Young Americans Award, sponsored by the U.S. Jaycees. The award is given to recipients who are chosen for exceptional achievements that have been significant to their profession, communities, states or nations. Og-de- n Distinguished graduate, SOS Capt. Steven A. Kelly, 6545th Test Group, graduated in the top 6 percent of Class 91-- of the Squadron Officer School at the Air University at Maxwell AFB, La. He competed against 627 students. SOS is the first of the Air Force's professional military education schools. The mission of the seven-weecourse is to provide for the professional development of company grade officers so they can better perform and value their role in the conduct and support of the Air Force mission. The evaluation system consists of four phases counting 25 percent each: academics, writing, speaking and leadership. The student must excel in each phase.
