Show n o 1990 was a year filled with activity for Hill AFB and the entire Department of Defense, from the capture of former Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega to the continuing crisis in the Persian Gulf. The year also saw the books close on Operation Punchout and a major change in the structure of air logistics centers in the Air Force Logistics Command. The Department of Defense continued its drawdown, including impending reduction-in-forccuts and offers of military early outs and civilian e retirements.
