Show CASTLE VALLEY TIMES COMMUNHY the PC. Joan pointed out again that the TC has to tell the PC what areas to re-examine. Bruce suggested tabling the whole thing until the next TC meeting. TC decided to have a joint meeting with PC on Wed., Aug. 26th to work out issues. Conditional Use Permits: Permits were granted to the Wheelings and Lucas ’s for very low impact occupations (internet sales for the Wheeling’s and consulting for John Lucas.) Property Line Change: Cris Coffey was granted permission to move the property line between lot 313 and 314. This change would give Cris’s house the proper set back. Sorel River Ranch Resort Dev: Dave Erley encouraged the TC to take a position opposing the commercial resort development on the river road. Concerns were raised about increased traffic on the River Road and about possible problems with fire protection from the CV fire district. Dave Erley is circulating a petition asking that no decision be made until the River Corridor Master Plan is complete. Disincorporation Petition: Jack had gotten a copy of the disincorporation petition and noticed that incorrect signatures had been included. With duplimte and incorrect signatures removed, there were not enough names to be a valid petition. Bruce and Dorothy agreed. Bruce has asked the Town attorney to file an action against the petition. The hope is that if there is a disincorporation election, at least it could be held at the time of the general election on November 3, which would save the Town a lot of money.
