They were married in the Salt Lake LD3 Temple Aug. 25, 1948 by Joseph Fielding Smith. To honor this event, a family dinner was held at the Lehi Legion Hall on Aug. 26. They are the parents of six children: Georgia Jean (Ed) Flinn, Murray; Clay Gordon (Judy) Tripp, Tracie (Randy) Bateman, Stacie (Paul) Bishop, all of Lehi; Nanette (Bob) American Fork; Ranae (Kyle) Bateman, Ibapah. Venoy was born Sept. 6, 1918 in Tabor, Alberta, Canada, to William E. and Myrtle Ina Turner. He lived there for six years, then came to Lehi where he lived until he married Eva Buhler. They lived in American Fork for three years and then moved to Highland. Venoy married Eva June 22, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Venoy is the father of seven children: Rhea Davis, Janice Comer, deceased; Gillette, Wyo.; Joyce Turner, Orem; Ronald Venoy Turner and Veloy Makin, both of American Fork; Kim Turner, West Jordan; and Gwen Petersen, Vernal.
