Show Lehi Free Lehi High School By Julie Loveridge Calling it a Sheldon Worthington, Lehi High Principal, explained the school's attendance policy as three-foladdressing problems of truancy, tardiness, and absenteeism. All three, he said, are affecting academic performance at the high school. "It will take most of the year to work through and develop a long-terpolicy" Worthington said. The short-terpolicy, how d, m m up session or Saturday school. The third offense will result in a meeting with the principal or administrator. Further offenses may result in parents attending school with the truant student or referral to truancy school. Of equal concern is absen- teeism, or students unable to attend for various reasons other than truancy. 0 American Rameson, Thomas Fork; Richard Pleasant Grove; Sr., Gandolfph, American Fork; Karl a Harding, Lehi; Cody Larsen, Lehi; Joyce Ann Jones, Lehi; LeRoy Senear, American Fork; Ray Bradley, American Fork; Tanya Gaines, Pleasant Grove; Larry D. According to witnesses, the fight occurred over slander by the victim about the suspect's family. An alert teller notified police that a man was attempting to cash what she believed to be a forged check after noticing that his signature on the check did not match the signature on his identification. A representative of the company on which the check was drawn came to the bank and confirmed that the check was indeed forged. Murray Police later told officers that they had the man in custody and would be booking him into the Salt Lake County jail. A Lehi woman reported the theft of a cellular phone and recharger from her vehicle. While the officer investigated the incident, he noticed that two other nearby cars had had the windows broken, in what appeared to be attempted vehicle burglaries. Nothing in the damaged cars was taken; interestingly, the windows in the car that was burglarized were not broken,, perhaps because the car was unlocked.
