The whites took advantage of key plays and turned them into offensive opportunities." The game marked the public debut of new offensive patterns that the Pioneers had been working on since August 3. The Whites used the new patterns with deadly effect. Amber White Paskett opened the game's scoring with a shot chipped in from the lower lefthand corner of the penalty box. The group includes Callie Trane, Lacey Yates, Natalie Nelson, and Kim Allen. "Lacey Yates is our blocker and Kim Allen our setter," Curtis said. "Natalie and Callie will be our outside hitters."
