Show New Utah! (Lehi Edition) - Wednesday, August, 1998 - Page 8 Peace and beauty found By Brian Brinkerhoff A winding maze of boardwalks and paths wander the shaded area known as Cascade Springs, with interpretive signs educating visitors about nature and the water cycle. Trout cautiously rest in the cold pools, waiting for unsuspecting insects, and abundant wildlife can be seen in the vicinity. Although this path can be covered in a matter of minutes, the true beauty of this area is best acquired as you leisurely watch the fish, read the signs, and enjoy the beauty that makes this area unique. Over 7,000,000 gallons of water emerge from the ground here daily, cascading over travertine ledges, splashing into dark pools, and racing into Provo's Deer Creek. Numerous benches have been provided for resting and paths have been improved to provide wheelchair access for the lower section. Family fun awaits at this unique stop, introducing educational benefits to your recreation. z Numerous route options are available in choose is entirely up to you. e r j Canyon side.
