Michael passed away at Primary Children's Hospital, 26, s, great-grandmoth- 1998 of car- diac arrest. Oct. Born 10, 1983 in American Fork, Utah to Terri Covington of Pleasant Grove and Ty G. Smith of Lehi. Mike was an 8th grade student at Lehi Jr. High School. He had many artistic talents and a great love for music. He enjoyed playing his bass guitar, working at the garage with his Dad on his junior dragster. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and time spent with his sisters and family. Because of his many qualities and compassion for others, he had many friends and cousins who will dearly miss him. Paramedics, Nancy, Samantha Harvey; the South Towne Mall security officers, Alta View Hospital, Dr. LifeFlight, Maloney, and all the caring nurses and doctors at PCMC who cared for Mike. Funeral services were Monday, June 1, 1998 in the Wing Mortuary Chapel. Burial . was next to his grandma in the American Fork City Cemetery. Memories of you, Mike, and your quiet gentle kind spirit will always be in our hearts and never forgotten. We love you Buddy. Our loving "Debbie", 42, passed away peacefully at home on May 27, 1998. She was born Nov. 6, knew her. She will long be remembered for the love and joy she brought to all our lives. She is survived by her husband Shirl of Lindon; her five children: David Loy and Nicole Tomlinson of Lindon, Shelly and Micah Kelly of Provo, Cindi Marie, Matthew Wayne, and Laura Ann Tomlinson, all of Lindon; two grandchildren and seven brothers and sisters: Richard Brown, Irvine, California, Annette Stout, Fort Worth, Texas, Steven Brown, American LouAnn Fork, Tomlinson, Sherrie Houston, Mark Brown, and Robert in American Fork, the E. Ray and daughter of f Norma Ostler Brown. She married Shirl Loy Tomlinson on April 25, 1975 in the Salt Lake Temple. She loved to read, cook and take care of her family. She always had a cheerful disposition and positive attitude. Debra was a good friend and counselor to many people and was an inspiration to Brown, all of Lindon. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 30 in the Lindon West Stake Center. Interment was in the Lindon City Cemetery. all-wh- Mary Lou G. Asay in the ing Primary Organization. Additional survivors include two brothers: Wilford M. Gurr and Ray Dean Gurr. She was preceded in death by her sister Thelma Higginson. Funeral services were held Monday, June 1, 1998 in the Old Third Ward Chapel, Pleasant Grove. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Mary Lou Gurr Asay, 69, of Pleasant Grove returned home to her Father in Heaven on ii iinpi mil Thursday, May 28, 1998 an after eight year ordeal with diabetes. She was born May 14, 1929 in Provo to Wilf ord Marsh and Letha Edwards Gurr. She married Clifton W. Asay, July 6, 1949 in the St. George LDS Temple. She grew up and attended school in Caliente, Nevada. She was an active member of the LDS Church and enjoyed her job as chorister and work- - Denton K. Jqckson 25 years in both the Salt Lake and Provo Temples. He and his wife Cecilia performed together in many operas and other musical productions. He is survived by three Denton K. Jackson, 97, of Pleasant Grove passed away Monday, June 1, 1998 at Alpine Care Center. He was born Dec. 21, 1900 in Venice, Sevier County, Utah to Thomas daughters and three sons: Mable Spencer, Tooele; Betty Taylor, Kaysville; Ward (Joyce) Edward and Eliza Jane S w Jackson. He ha married Cecilia Ward Jackson, Salt Lake; Clinton (Ruth) Jackson, , Pleasant Grove; Celia Mae (Steve) Hurst, Salt Lake;- John Edward Jackson, Pleasant Grove; 37 grandchildren and 105 greatgrandchildren, and 21 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Jamie Jackson. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 5, 1998 at 11 a.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 500 S. 300 East, Pleasant Grove where friends may call one hour prior to services.
