Page By Teresa Carlson Lovers of the classic novel "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott will want to be sure to catch a performance of the play of the same name now playing at the Valley Center Playhouse. Adapted from the novel by John D. Ravold, "Little Women" brings to life the adventures and triumphs of the March family. Set in the 1860s, the play follows the lives of four sisters: Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy. With their father away at war and their mother also devoting numerous hours to help in the war effort, the sisters learn how to work together and love each other unselfishly. The sisters are cast superbly and have a great camaraderie. The sister's roles are double cast and on the night I attended the play I enjoyed the per- All-Sta- te Public invited to writers' social formances of Amy Goeckeritz as Jo, Kynsie Kiggins as Meg, Lori Heindel as Amy and Amy Hill as Beth. Each sister's unique personality is portrayed and it is easy to believe that they are truly a family. Also outstanding are the men who court the sisters. Dan The Timpanogos Chapter of the League of Utah Writers will hold its Spring Social on Thursday, April 30 at 7 p.m. At the American Fork Veterans Building, 53 N. Center Street. Storyteller Terra Allen and nationally syndicated columnist Joseph Walker will entertain with their favorite stories, and there will be a musical duet by vocalists Lisa Harris and Valerie Gundersen. The public is invited to attend the free event. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call Lynne Jolley at (CINEMA (((g) Titanic pg-i3- ) Daily: 4:30 8:30 Thurs.
