They were praised for their success, yet they were admonished to continue to make the right choices in life, especially as life becomes more complicated. The occasion was D.A.R.E. graduation ceremonies for sixth grade students from Lehi Elementary who had completed the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program given by Detective Kathy Stewart of the Lehi , V St If J) f, 1 ! Department. "There are a lot of choices you will have to make," Lehi Mayor Ken Greenwood told the youth. "This program gives you some tools to handle the world. I hope you will use these tools you've been given to make you live better." Lehi Elementary Principal Dennis Nuckles praised the youth, calling them a "wonderful group of kids," and Josh is an enthusiastic, hardfriendly and dependable Lehi High senior whose motto is, "anything worth doing is worth doing well." "I had worked hard," she told the youth after showing a video clip of her performance that earned her the silver medal. "I had set a goal and I had supportive friends and family. I accomplished some- thing that was unimaginable." Stewart concluded the ceremonies with her own final words of admonition, telling the graduates that they were actually making an impact in the lives of others right now. "I hope when you're 20, 25 or 30, people look up to you," she said. "You're at a crossroads right now. You're making an impact on a lot of people's lives whether you know it or not." golf.
