Toyn passed away at 9:08 a.m., November 29, 1997 in Provo, Utah after a long rv , for heart and pulmonary complications. She was born March Dorton Catherine Toyn active member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Jo Ann loved music, travel, cooking, sports, and her family. Always caring and compassionate, she will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. She is survived by her husband Tom; daughter - Claudia Meiners and her children Amber Mallory, Alicia and Michelle Meiners of Phoenix, Arizona; sister - Phyllis Day of Destin, Florida; brother - La 10, 1931 to parents Basil Jonas Obituaries 14 and Drue B. Dorton of Port Richey, Florida; stepdaughters - Kathi Toyn Olsen, West Covina, California and Terri Toyn Gwendolyn Hitchcock in Lehi, Utah. Jo Ann attended Lehi schools and was active in L.D.S. seminary, chorus, orchestra, Kirkpatrick, Corona, and band. She attended California; eight grandchildren Brigham Young University and and five Utah Technical College. He retired with a degree in Applied Sciences from Utah Technical College as a lithographer and was currently employed by Rocky Mountain Printing Co. He was a bee rancher, rock hound, and enjoyed gardening, dutch-ovecooking, and jazz music. He was a member of the Audobon Society and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 3372. Sophia children Duncan g Rose Mascaro Barnes, age 77 of Lehi, died Nov. 26, 1997 at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo of nat ural causes. She was Doris Greenwell Schow, 75, Dec. 1, 1997 at her passed away home in Pleasant Grove after a long illness. She was born 17, 1922 to John William and Ada Mill Greenwell. Doris grew in up Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She moved to Utah when she married Russell Stewart Schow following his return from military service during World War II in India. Russell and Doris were married in the Salt Lake Temple on March 14, 1945. Doris spent most of her adult life in Pleasant Grove, where she raised three sons, Russell Stewart Schow Jr., Craig William Schow, Robert Randal Schow, and one daughter, Patricia Lee Andrus. Doris was a mother and homemaker who as her children left home went to work for Berg Mortuary, Alpine School District, and Gunther's Heating in American Fork. She was active in PTA Bountiful, with each of her children. She did volunteer work at American Fork Hospital as a Pink Lady. Throughout her youth in Eastern Canada and up to the time of her illness, Doris was active in the LDS Church, holding numerous positions.
