S-- . f V r; ' Robyn Dawn Squires: 'Be "Be involved, but don't seek the praise of men." is the phi- losophy of this week's Pioneer Profile. Robyn Dawn Squires. She is the daughter of Merlin and Virginia Squires of Lehi. Robyn is a very involved and organized member of the Lehi High studentbody. where she is also the youngest senior in her class, currently serves as historian of the student council, is of the tennis team, and she is a member of the National Honor Society She has also been an assistant editor for the Pioneer Pen literary magazine. Robyn is listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students and she has received the Marketing and Merit National English Awards. While taking advanced placement classes in English, history, and calculus, she has maintained a 3.9 grade point average. As an active member of the Lehi 17th Ward, Robyn has served in her Young Women's class presidencies, participated in many service projects, and she is currently a member of the ward choir. She is also working toward her Young Women's Recognition award. In her free time, Robyn enjoys dancing, singing, reading, and playing piano. Robyn works as a peer tutor at the Lehi library and she is also a member of the Lehi Arts Council community choir. Pro-Spo- v. v ', . A. Robyn D. Michael Wilson participates in national FFA convention Michael Wilson, 18, treasur- er of the Utah FFA Association, represented the state as an official delegate to the 70th National FFA Convention in in Kansas City. Nov. Kansas City, Mo. Wilson joined 475 state FFA officers from all 50 states. Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands to conduct the business of the national organization during special sessions of the convention. He is the son of Richard and Ella Wilson of Lehi and is a member of the Lehi FFA chap13-1- i 5 ! - 1 ter. The national FFA convention is the culmination of a year's activities for FFA members. for personal Opportunities growth and leadership development are presernted by education and motivational speakers. This year's theme, "Building f" Micahel Wilson the Future," symbolized the agricultural education organization's mission to prepare students to create the best possible future for themselves, their communities, the agricultural industry and the nation.
