He was currently serving as second counselor in the Midvale Utah LDS Stake Presidency. His hobbies included golfing, BYU sports, fishing and spending time with his family. He enjoyed all learning, both secular and spiritual. Siii Beveridge was a great man who lived what he taught, and touched deeply the lives of all who have the privilege to know him. He is survived by his wife, Deanna, Midvale: children: Alison (Bryant) Reimann, West Jordan: Val (Heidi) Beveridge, Magna; seminary president. He received academic and leadership scholarships to BYU, a B.S. degree from BYU, an M.S. degree from the University of Utah, and an administration degree from BYU. He married his sweetheart. Deanna Rees, Sept. 6, 1961 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Sid worked over 30 years in education as a teacher and administrator, both in Granite and Jordan School Districts. He served as Coordinator of Student Sen-icefor Jordan School District, Principal of West Jordan Middle School, Principal of West Jordan High School, and was currently serving as an Area Director for Jordan School District. Among honors, he was selected as Outstanding Administrator for Jordan School District, was recipiAward from the ent of Secretary' of Defense, and was currently selected to serve as the Large School Representative for the western states. Steve leaves behind his wife, Linda. Pleasant Grove; his five children: Jessica Rachel, Matthew, Irene (Rainy), Elissa; his devoted mother, Ethel Butler, Orem; his Stephen Todd Butler, 43, Pleasant Grove, departed this Nov. 18, 1996, after a 17 year battle with Lupus and a liver transplant. Cook. 81, Cedar Fort, Nov. 15, 1996 in American John died Fork after a long illness John was born Nov. 1 , 1915 in Cedar to Fort H. William and Elizabeth P. Elton Cook. He married Lois Anderson v 4 ' I Sept. 19, 1940 in the Salt LDS Lake Temple. ? s , were antique John's interests cars and motorcycles. He was a member of the LDS Church. He retired in 1978 after serving 30 years as a fire fighter, retiring as assistant fire chief from Dugway Proving Grounds. John also ran a Hugh for natural gas furnace attended in Huntsville and Orem and went on to graduate from the University of Utah with a Master's Degree in Social Work. He was employed as a social worker at the Utah State Developmental Center. Steve served an LDS mission in the California, Oakland Mission. He married his sweetheart, Linda Brownell, Dec. 6, 1979 in the Oakland LDS Temple. They have five beautiful children. Steve has always been an active member of the LDS Church, servwas ing the Lord in any way that asked of him. He filled positions in several Elders Quorum presidencies and was currently teaching the Priests Quorum. He loves his Father in Heaven and his many friends and was always the first to be there when someone needed him, especially if it was to fix their car. Besides his family and the Lord, his other love 7 v Cheever W. friends. He enjoyed doing temple work with his wife. Hugh is survived by his son, Hugh Leon Cheever. and wife, Ann, of Farmers Branch, Texas; three grandchildren: David, Joe and Jim Cheever, one Aaron Cheever; one jisier, Maime Hugh Wright Cheever, 87, passed away Nov. 12, 1996 at his home in Cedar City-Hwas born Jan. 26. 1909 in American Fork to Henry A. and Margaret Ann Wright Cheever He married Nona minora Brown. She preceded him in death He was an active member of the LDS Church and served as secretary for the High Priests Quorum for many years. He was best known for Hugh's Cafe. Hugh was an avid fisherman and a wonderful gardener. He loved to share with his family and (Again) great-grandchil- McMillen.
