Irish-America- Who will be a Christmas family? This newspaper is seeking the identity of needy families in this area for Christmas. "We need names, address, telephone, ages, clothing sizes, and any specific needs," says Publisher Brett Bez?ant. "Many organizations and families come to the newspaper seeking this information to do their own projects. We try to match each needy family with a sponsor." "If you know of a family who, because of unemployment, illness, injury, or some other reason, may be looking forward to a bleak Christmas, please give us as much information about them as possible. Please include your own name, address and phone number so the sponsor can use you as a confidential contact person. This way the family's Christmas can be a welcome surprise." In past years the newspaper staff has sponsored several families with readers making direct donations. This year any cash donations directly will be divided among the sponsoring organizations to be given to the families with their own contributions. Readers can sponsor an individual family or make a donation for all of the needy families. Please submit information on needy families or cash donations to: Christmas Family, P.O.
