Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lewis grew up in the Orem area and graduated from Lincoln High School. He served in the Navy in the Pacific during World War II. He retired from Tooele Army Depot as a fire fighter. June grew up in Lehi and graduated from Lehi High School. She retired from Alpine School District where she worked as a secretary. Both Lewis and June enjoy their retired life and keep busy traveling to visit their children, gardening and their handicrafts. The event will be held Friday, Nov. 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Senior Citizen Center, 120 N. Center, Lehi. They were married Nov. 22, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple nd made their first home in Glenwood Springs, Colo., where Clyde began his career in hotel tnanagement. In 1965 the family returned to Utah when he took an administrative position at BYU, vhere he served as assistant vice president of General Services. He retired in 1989 after serving for 25 years. The Bairs served faithfully in many church callings, including ishop, high councilman, in the Stake presidency and ward and stake Relief Society secretary.
