Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 11 a.m. in the Lehi Creek Ward Chapel, 1095 N. 300 West. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. Holcomb, beloved husband, father, grandfather, greatgrandfather, and brother, passed away peace fully at home on contractor. He served as a Lehi City Councilman and as a City Building Inspector. Dad was preceded in death by his father, mother and sister, Veo Holcomb, who passed away just 12 short hours before her brother, Lester. Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 4, at noon in the Lehi Wines Park LDS Ward Chapel, 465 E. 300 North. Friends may calla t the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the church Friday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Lehi City Cemetery. Les married Rhoda Knudsen March 27, 1941 in Tremonton. He was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da-y Saints on Feb. 17, 1975. Their marriage was solemnized one year later in the Provo LDS Temple. Les was a High Priest and served faithfully in many callings as long as his health permitted. He was a devoted temple worker at the Provo Temple. Les was a member of the St. George and Lehi Lions' Club, serving in all offices including President and Lions International District Governor. He designed and supervised the building of the Sunbowl in St. George. He enjoyed working with the youth in sports and scouting. He loved working with the local farmers in St. George and Lehi in the Soil Conservation Service.
